If you are in the market for a light-duty pickup truck that is capable of handling difficult tasks, then the new GMC Canyon may be the perfect model for you. Available in four trim levels, the new GMC Canyon is equipped with features that make it highly desirable for tackling all of your tasks.

Three engine platforms are available for the new GMC Canyon. The base engine for the Canyon is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 200 horsepower and 191 pound-feet of torque. This engine has limited availability but can be found on the 2WD Elevation and Elevation Standard models. At the middle of the Canyon truck's powertrain lineup is a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 308 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque. The 3.6-liter engine comes standard on the Denali and AT4 models.

A 2.8-liter four-cylinder diesel engine rests at the top of the powertrain list, providing the Canyon with 181 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. The diesel engine allows the new GMC Canyon to tow up to 7,700 pounds.
