What's New for 2023?

Three are no major updates made for the new Acadia. There are minor additions like a new leather-wrapped steering wheel on the SLE trim and three new color options: Volcanic Red tint coat, Ultra Blue metallic, and Sterling metallic.

Trims

The GMC Acadia has four trim levels:

• SLE
• SLT
• AT4
• Denali

Performance

Powering the Acadia are two engine options. The base powertrain is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that produces 228 horsepower. The other powertrain is an optional 3.6-liter V-6 that outputs 310 horsepower. Every model comes standard with a nine-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, though all-wheel drive is optional.

According to the EPA, the base engine with front-wheel drive is estimated to get around 22 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway. While the V-6 with front-wheel drive is estimated at around 19/27 mpg.

Technology

Outfitted into the Acadia is a host of features for Tri-County drivers to enjoy. A six-speaker sound system and five USB ports are available in the base trim. While higher trims offer a navigation system, heated second-row seats, and a wireless charging pad.

Safety Features

As you drive around the Harrison or Fairfield area, you'll be kept safe thanks to Acadia's suite of advanced driver-aids. Several of these safety features include automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, a blind-spot monitor, and an optional surround-view camera system.
